About Us

  • What is Expanded Learning?
According to the California Department of  Education, “Expanded Learning refers to before and after school, summer, and intersession learning experiences that develop the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of students. Expanded Learning should be hands-on, engaging, student-centered, results-driven, involve community partners, and complement learning activities in the regular school day/year."

    ASES Grant
The After-School Education and Safety Expanded Learning Program is a grant-funded program through the CA Department of Education, Expanded Learning Division. We are required to engage in CQI- Continuous Quality Improvement, where we collect feedback from our program stakeholders.

    Community Partnership
The Fullerton School District partners with Community-Based Organizations such as the City of Fullerton Parks and Recreation and the Boys and Girls Club of Fullerton to offer ASES at specific school sites.
