    Room C4‘s Jobs: The President’s Cabinet

    President:  The president of the class appoints positions and represents the class in a ceremonial role by leading the flag salute daily.  The president must be responsible and dependable at all times. The president is responsible for answering the phone in the classroom. (1 elected)

    Vice President:  The vice president assists the president in the duties listed above. The vice president is responsible for the setting up the classroom for the next school day. (1)

    Secretary of State:  The Secretary of State carries messages to other classrooms/office.  (1)

    Secretary of Defense:  The Secretary of Defense is in charge of daily cleaning the sink area and replacing used tissue boxes to protect us from germ infestation. (1)

    Secretary of Treasury:  The Secretary of Treasury is in charge of paying students and/or  collecting money owed for Class Dojo. (1)

    Attorney General:  The Attorney General enforces computer rules.  This person will keep a log of students who do not have their power cord or do not have their computer charged.  (2)

    Secretary of Commerce:  The Secretary of Commerce is in charge of keeping a log of all detentions.  He/she will collect detentions the day they are due.   (2)

    Secretary of the Interior:  The Secretary of the Interior is responsible for making sure that the classroom is neat and clean at the end of each day.  (2)

    Secretary of Agriculture:  The Secretary of Agriculture is responsible for watering plants.  (1)

    The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development:  The Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is responsible for dusting bookshelves and cubbies as well as reporting dirty or messy cubbies to the Vice President.  (2)

    Secretary of Transportation:  The Secretary of Transportation is responsible for leading the class to lunch, recess, and any assemblies.  This person must make sure that the class is in a straight, quiet line. (2)

    Secretary of Labor:  The Secretary of Labor is responsible for handing out any papers or classroom supplies and putting tests in numerical order for Mrs. Ceballos.  (2)

    Secretary of Health and Human Services:  The Secretary of Health and Human Services will file all papers, organize Wednesday folders, and compile Wednesday home notes. (3)

    Secretary of Energy: The Secretary of Energy is responsible for turning off the lights in the classroom. (1)

    Secretary of Communication: The Secretary of Energy is responsible for picking up and distributing printing.  (2)

    Secretary of Education:  The Secretary of Education is responsible for checking off homework in the morning.   (2)

    Secretary of Veterans Affairs:  The Secretary of Veterans Affairs is in charge of putting the out the backpack carts in the morning and bringing them in at the end of the day. The Secretary of Veteran Affairs is also responsible for putting out the lunch bin outside at lunch and bringing the lunch bin in after lunch. (2)

    Secretary of Homeland Security:  The Secretary of Homeland Security is responsible for being the last person out of the classroom, closing all doors, and making sure they are locked. During an emergency or an emergency drill, the Secretary of Homeland Security is responsible for the Emergency Radio. (1)

    Speaker of the House:  The Speaker of the House is in charge of recording any Random Acts of Kindness committed or witnessed by any members of the class. (1)

    Secretary of Library Affairs: The Secretary of Library Affairs is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized library as well as managing check-in and check-out with all classmates. The Secretary of Library Affairs is responsible for checking in library books on library day and returning the books to the Media Center. (2)

    Secretary of Supplies: The Secretary of Supplies is responsible for classroom supplies, including sharpening of pencils. (2)

    Secretary of Information: The Secretary of Information is responsible for checking student’s Daily Planners. (2)

    Secretary of Air Quality: The Secretary of Air Quality is responsible for filling the classroom diffuser daily. (1)
