Literature Circle - Job Discription

LITERATURE CIRCLE JOB: GOOGLE FORM

BLOOM'S QUESTIONS: Use Bloom's Question Starter to write and answer 4 to 6 questions and answers for Discussion Leader Job.

Discussion Leader - Creates 5-6 questions using Bloom’s Question Starter.  Must answer each question as well.

Literacy Reporter - Locates passages that stand out because they are funny, or sad, contain key incidents, or feature memorable language.  Write 3 sentences that summarize what happens in the story and 3 more sentences that explain why you selected this part of the story.

Summarizer - Write a paragraph (6 to 8 sentences that summarizes the selection you just heard or read.

Illustrator - Illustrate a key part of the selection you just heard or read.

Word Chief - Locate (5)difficult words from the selection, look them up in the dictionary and write down their definition.  Write a sentence using each word.

Connector - Find links between the book and other books you read, a movie you saw, or a real event in your life. Write 3 sentences that summarize what happens in the story and 3 more sentences that explain why you selected this part of the story.
