Structure of the Earth

  • The is a model of the graphic organizer we did in class.  Be sure to go over your notes in a ultra thin tip Sharpie and lightly shade each layer.  Recommended colors are green for the Crust, Orange or Yellow for the Mantle, and Pink or Red for the Core.  You may use different colors if you do not have the recommended colors.

Paper Airplane Measurements

  • Go to this Google form and input the following measurements of all your prototypes.

    Weight if each plane in grams.

    Length of each plane in centimeters.

    Width of each plane in centimeters.

    Area of both wingspan for each plane.

    Calculate the average distance flown for each airplane.  (Centimeters)

    Ratio between the area of the wingspan and the distance flown. (Total Area divided by average distance flow)
