Mr. Peter Karaya

I have been in education for 17 years, 8 at Nicolas Jr. High, I have taught Algebra, Math 8, Math 7 Honors, FESTO, Roboticxs, Drones, and 3D Printing. I have a multiple subject credential with a math supplemental credential. Additionally, I have a Masters in Education. After being in the classroom for 17 years, it is truly where I am meant to be. Connecting with students and making math content attainable are my passions.

Regarding my personal life, I am married and have two wonderful children that I love with all of my heart. My oldest is in seventh grade and my youngest is in third grade. We have two dogs named Charlotte, a black lab, and Lucy, a terrier mix. I spend my free time with my family watching my children play soccer and baseball, going on family vacations, and spending time with family.
