Mrs. Gomez

I am so excited to be teaching Math 7 and Science 7 CORE this year at Nicolas! I began my own education as a student in Fullerton, attending Fern Drive, Parks and Sunny Hills. After high school, I attended Fullerton College where I was fortunate to study abroad in Florence, Italy for 3 months. I was able to travel to beautiful cities in Italy as well cities in France, Spain, Germany and Monaco.
California State Long Beach was my next stop where I continued with clubs, joined my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi, and earned my Bachelor's of Arts Degree and Teacher's Credential. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in Generalist, Middle Childhood and I earned my GATE Certificate through the Fullerton School District.

Over my 17 years of teaching, I've taught Junior High Math, 2nd, 3rd and Reading Intervention to grades K-8. As a lifelong learner, I've continued taking various classes and trainings and I love to share my educational past with students and to inspire and encourage their journey.
