Principal's Message

Hello! I’m Rachel McCormick, and I’m excited to be part of the Acacia community for the 2024-2025 school year. Building strong connections between home and school is very important to me, and I believe that working together, we will continue to provide a wonderful education for our students.

Acacia is known for its tradition of excellence, and I’m thrilled to share that we have been recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School, a California Distinguished School, and a Platinum Level PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) School. We are also proud to offer GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) classes in 3rd - 6th grade, maintaining our high academic standards and commitment to outstanding education. These honors reflect the dedication of our amazing staff, the support of our wonderful community, and the hard work of our students.

This will be my fourth year as principal here at Acacia. With over 20 years in education, including eighteen with the Fullerton School District, I’ve had the pleasure of working at both elementary and junior high schools. My family and I have called Fullerton home for over twenty years, and our children attended Acacia from Kindergarten through sixth grade. Both graduated from Troy High School, and my daughter is entering her fourth year at Cal Baptist University as an architecture major, and my son is entering his second year at Northern Arizona University where he is majoring in business. Together, our family loves spending time camping, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors with our dog, Duke.

Acacia is truly a special place, and I am confident that we can continue to support our students in reaching their full potential. I look forward to continue to get to know each of you as we start this exciting new school year. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I’m eager to work together with the Acacia family to make this school year the best one yet for our students!

Warm regards,
Rachel McCormick
