Mrs. La
Hello!
My name is Mrs. La, and I am so excited to be your child’s new 4th grade teacher. I am passionate about teaching and excited about the opportunity to join the 4th grade team at Sunset Lane! My goal is to provide engaging instruction that challenges critical thinking skills, fosters intelligent discussions, and develops logical writing skills for every student. I promise to teach and care for your children as if they are my own. It is going to be an amazing year!
I believe communication with parents is crucial to a successful year. Please look for communication from me via Class Dojo. I am here with an open mind and a willingness to listen and help with any concerns that might arise throughout the year. You may contact me through Class Dojo (preferred) or my school email sena_la@myfsd.org. I will respond to emails within 24 hours.
I am looking forward to an outstanding year!

Behavior Plan
Mrs. La's Behavior Plan
The following class rules are established to maintain a safe and productive learning environment for your children. These rules provide students with a clear message of my class standards, procedures, and expectations. It is important for your child to follow these rules, both inside and outside the classroom.
- Listen when your teacher is talking.
- Follow directions quickly.
- Keep your hands and feet to yourself.
- Raise a quiet hand to speak.
- Be safe, be kind, and be honest.
Academic Expectations
- I expect students to give their best effort to all tasks. It is important for your child to come to school prepared, stay on task, follow directions the first time, respect fellow classmates and teacher, and show kindness and courteousness to others.
- Papers, assignments, and projects should be neat, clean, and well-organized. All classwork, homework, and projects should demonstrate legible handwriting.
- Homework is due the next school day unless otherwise indicated by the teacher. All homework needs to be returned to school in your child's homework folder. If your child does not complete their homework when it's due, it's considered late. All late work is accepted for half credit.
