    • Hours:
The library is open Monday/Wednesday 8:30-12:30 and Tuesday/ Thursday from 8:30am - 2:30pm for regular book check out.  Books can be turned into the classroom library cart.  Books may be checked out only during official library hours when the TLMA is on campus.  (unless arrangements were made with the TLMA) The library is closed at all other times.
      Book Checkout:

      • Books are checked out in one-week increments for grades K through 3 and two-week increments for grades 4 through 8.

      • Grades K-3: Each student is allowed to check out one book for 1 week.

      • Grades 4th - 8th: Each student is allowed to check out two books for 2 weeks.

      • Middle School students may check out books during their lunch time.

    • Renewals and Holds:

      • Renewals A book must be brought to the library to be renewed and may be renewed two times.  Additional renewals for longer books are allowed at the TLMA’s discretion.

      • Holds can be made on the students iPad through Researcher. The TLMA will do their best to find and hold that book for that student. Holds are held behind the TLMA desk.

    • Overdue Books:

      • Students should make every attempt to return books on time.  An overdue book may mean that another student cannot check out their desired book.

      • Books are considered overdue one (1) week after checkout for Grades K through 3 and two (2) weeks after checkout for grades 4 through 8.  Overdue notices are sent to teachers weekly which will then be sent home to the guardians.

    • Consequences for Overdue, Lost, and Damaged Books:

      • All students, Kindergarten through 8th: Students with overdue books may not check out another book until their account is clear.  To clear an account, students may make a donation of the replacement cost of the book or replace the book.

      • Parents are asked to help locate “lost” books as quickly as possible to reinstate student library privileges.  If the book cannot be found, we ask that donations of money or replacement books be made, allowing students to continue to check out books.

      • Damaged books:  All library books should be treated with care.  Damage fees up to the replacement cost of the book may be charged for any deliberate damage.

    • Technology
Student devices will be checked out in August. Devices must be returned on the date requested at the end of the school year, in good working condition, along with the assigned Apple charger and cable.  Aftermarket items will not be accepted. Students may submit a student repair ticket through the Student Repair Form icon on their school iPad. School iPads are property of the Fullerton School District and are intended for educational use. Improper use of school technology may result in loss of privileges. All iPads are meant to be used by the student to whom the iPad was assigned to.
