       My name is Ms. Linda Song, and I have been teaching at Sunset Lane for over 30 years. I love working with such great kids, families, and coworkers!  At Sunset Lane, I have taught second through fifth grade.

     I was born in South Korea and moved to California when I was 4 1/2 years old.  I grew up with three brothers but no sisters, so I played a lot of sports and read a great deal (to escape from being outnumbered!)  Now, my brothers and I are very close, despite fighting frequently while growing up!

     Education was important to my family, so I knew I wanted to go to college.  I graduated from CSU Long Beach with my BA in English Literature and earned a Teaching Credential after student teaching in England through CSULB's International Student Teaching Exchange.  Later, I earned my Master of Arts in Education at Azusa Pacific University.

     I have a daughter who is now a seventh grader at Parks Junior High.  Hopefully, we will see you around the school for many of our wonderful and fun school activities! I look forward to a great year together!
