Washed ashore in tiny Tupelo Landing, North Carolina, Mo LoBeau, now eleven, and her best friend, Dale, turn detective when the amnesiac Colonel, owner of a café and co-parent of Mo with his cook Miss Lana, seem implicated in a murder.
