• At Orangethorpe, each grade level participates in a year-long project-based activity called Project Curiosity. In 5th grade, students learn about different career paths and how each of those paths can have an impact on the environment. Students then utilize a program called Thrively to identify their own strengths, interests, and passions. Students are then provided with a personalized selection of possible career paths to explore for themselves. They will research their potential future career, identify current negative environmental impacts of their career, and develop an action plan to help solve the problems they identify.
