Principal's Message

Hello Terrific Orangethorpe Families
It is hard to believe it is already October and we have been in school for 7 weeks. Our students have really settled into school and are doing incredible things in their classrooms with their amazing teachers. Last week also saw the start of many clubs and interventions to further help our students academically and also experience sports, theater and speech and debate. Exciting things are happening at Orangethorpe!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for coffee with the principal, English Language Advisory Council (ELAC) and School Site Council (SSC). We had some great conversations and are excited to begin parent workshops. Be on the lookout for flyers for more information and dates.

It is your commitment to your children that has made this return to a normal school year possible and as always with our partnership, we can help our students achieve great success.
I appreciate every one of you and the input you provide either by attending meetings or completing surveys.
I wish you all an amazing week and look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. If you have questions, concerns or shout outs to staff members, please let me know. I love to recognize staff for their dedication to our students in the weekly email I send to them.
