The Woodcrest Family Learning Den is here!
Woodcrest Elementary is proud to announce the launch of our Family Learning Den. The Family Learning Den is a website designed for parents to support learning at home. The website was designed by our amazing Response to Intervention teachers: Angela Joo, Natalie Alcaraz, and Amy Graza. The website contains resources for parents to help with academics in both English Language Arts and Math. The site has a variety of videos on a wide range of topics, such as letter names and sounds, sight words, fluency, active reading, counting, addition, and multiplication. In an effort to help parents understand how we assess student learning, there are resources to explain Running Records, Benchmarks, and our Guaranteed and Viable Standards, in both English and Spanish. The RTI team will continue to add more videos and resources to support and engage our parent community.
