It is a great honor to be the Richman Racer Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.  Richman has a wonderful reputation for creating a welcoming and positive school environment.  I am committed to help support this community thrive even more and level up the amazing school programs that have already been established throughout the years.  My hope is to facilitate a school where we empower our students, together to be lifelong learners and caring citizens.

My passion for teaching, leading and learning has been positively influenced  working the last 19 years as a school educator.  My roles include teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grades, Teacher on Special Assignment, Assistant Principal and Principal.  Personally and professionally, I believe it is my duty to model lifelong learning and having a growth mindset.  I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Educational Studies from the University of Santa Barbara, multiple subject teaching credential and master’s degree in Education from the University of Southern California, administrative credential from Cal Poly Pomona and a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Cal Poly Pomona.

Family is the heart of what I do on a daily basis.  I come from a family that holds morals and integrity to the highest standard.  My mother taught me that children must feel safe, loved and nurtured.  My father demonstrated at a very young age that your word and character is the foundation to building trust and relationships.   I have three amazing sons that all attend school in the Fullerton School District.  It is my hope to bring the qualities I learned from my family to Richman Elementary.

I am deeply humbled and grateful for this opportunity to serve and support the Richman community and create an environment that feels like home.  I look forward to meeting the entire Fullerton community and learning more about your families and hopes for this upcoming school year.

Es un gran honor ser el director de Richman Racer para el año escolar 2024-2025.  Richman tiene una maravillosa reputación por crear un ambiente escolar positivo y acogedor.  Estoy comprometido a ayudar a que esta comunidad prospere aún más y a mejorar los increíbles programas escolares que ya se han establecido a lo largo de los años.  Mi esperanza es facilitar una escuela donde capacitamos a nuestros estudiantes para que juntos sean aprendices de por vida y ciudadanos solidarios.

Mi pasión por enseñar, liderar y aprender se ha visto influenciada positivamente trabajando los últimos 19 años como educador escolar.  Mis funciones incluyen enseñar en los grados 6, 7 y 8, maestra en asignación especial, subdirectora y directora.  Personal y profesionalmente, creo que es mi deber modelar el aprendizaje permanente y tener una mentalidad de crecimiento.  Obtuve mi licenciatura en Sociología y Estudios Educativos de la Universidad de Santa Bárbara, mi credencial de enseñanza de múltiples materias y mi maestría en Educación de la Universidad del Sur de California, mi credencial administrativa de Cal Poly Pomona y un doctorado en Liderazgo Educativo de Cal Poly Pomona.

La familia es el corazón de lo que hago a diario.  Vengo de una familia que mantiene la moral y la integridad al más alto nivel.  Mi madre me enseñó que los niños deben sentirse seguros, amados y cuidados.  Mi padre demostró desde muy joven que la palabra y el carácter son la base para construir confianza y relaciones.   Tengo tres hijos maravillosos y todos asisten a la escuela en el distrito escolar de Fullerton.  Tengo la esperanza de traer las cualidades que aprendí de mi familia a la Primaria Richman.

Me siento profundamente honrado y agradecido por esta oportunidad de servir y apoyar a la comunidad de Richman y crear un ambiente en el que me siento como en casa.  Espero conocer a toda la comunidad de Fullerton y aprender más sobre sus familias y sus esperanzas para este próximo año escolar.

Tengo un profundo respeto por nuestros grupos de padres y el alcance comunitario.  Espero construir asociaciones duraderas con todos ustedes.  Gracias por una bienvenida tan cálida.
