About Golden Hill

Welcome to Golden Hill Elementary School! Our teachers and staff are committed to helping students achieve success through high-quality education as well as enrichment activities.

Many of the programs, events, and activities at Golden Hill Elementary School reflect our focus on the arts. At Golden Hill Elementary School, We Dream Big!  We provide an arts-infused education that encompasses both visual and performing arts in a variety of genres. We invite you to partner with us in providing these experiences for our students!

Our school mission is to prepare all of our students to reach their greatest academic and social potential in a safe and supportive environment.We have high academic and behavioral expectations for our students and they rise to the challenge. Our students learn to express ideas through creativity and innovation. We encourage our students to envision the contributions they might make to their community and to the world at large in the years ahead.

We are excited about the transition to the Common Core State Standards and the possibilities for learning that accompany them. We embed 21st century learning skills into instruction and are excited to be able to offer iPads to each of our 4th, 5th, and 6th grades students for use at home and at school.

At Golden Hill Elementary School, we feel fortunate to have a very supportive and involved parent community. We invite you to become involved in our school in any way that you are able, whether it be assisting in a classroom, serving on a committee, or participating in a school event. In addition, Team Golden Hill, including members of our PTA and Golden Hill Education Foundation (GHEF), helps to organize events and raise funds to help us provide high quality programs and activities for our students. We believe that by working together as a school and community our students will make great strides in their education and development.
