    Nurse Susan Cravello voluntarily took over the care of the garden at Woodcrest Elementary, and it has since blossomed into a community-building space for Woodcrest Elementary’s students and staff.

    Filling the Niche for Advanced Athletes

    In keeping the tradition alive, Fullerton School District (FSD) is offering a new opportunity for advanced athlete students. Beginning in August (pending Board of Trustees approval), advanced athletes entering 6th through 8th grades may be able to attend a Performance Academy Sports Program of their choice, filling the niche of offering first class coaching, conditioning, and strength training while attending free, in person school. FSD welcomes all advanced sports and dance academy students are welcome.

    The Fullerton School District (FSD) proudly celebrated diversity and cultural appreciation at Park's Jr. High's 3rd Annual Korean Culture Night. This event featured an evening of festivities and cultural exchange for all FSD students and families.

    FSD is one of seven school districts in California receiving the highest honor, the Gold Award, and the only district in Orange County to receive the award. Across the nation, 140 districts were recognized as a 2023 Turnip the Beet Award.
