D. Russell Parks Community Service Award

  • (Eighth Grade students only)

For over twenty-five years, Parks Junior High students have played an important role in serving the greater Fullerton community.

In recognition of this outstanding effort, the D. Russell Parks Community Service Award was created. This prestigious award is open to all eighth grade students who have contributed at least fifty (the silver medal) or 100 (the gold medal) hours of service in their eighth grade year.

Students who earn these medals wear them to graduation, where they are recognized during the ceremony and acknowledged in the program.

Projects must be approved by Mrs. Chabanel before a student may begin his/her service. She can be found in Room #305 on Mondays and Tuesdays.
