Independent Study

Short Term Independent Study is for those students who will be absent from school for three or more consecutive school days, which allows them to complete the work they normally would have completed in the classroom. All the laws and regulations that govern “regular” independent study apply to Short Term Independent Study. The Educational Services Director must approve extended absences longer than 25 consecutive school days.

Please notify the office if you would like your student to participate in Independent Study. We would like as much advance notice as possible.
