My name is Mrs. Cardenas. I have worked at Hermosa for 9 years. This is my 10th year teaching. I am the Education Specialist Teacher in the co-teaching program for 1st grade. I work alongside the general education teacher to incorporate universal design principles to enhance an inclusive learning environment for all students in the classroom. 

When I am not at school, I spend time with my husband and my puppy, Madison. We love traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family.
