Greetings students, parents, and families,
My name is Hannah Keller. I am one of the new Special Education teachers at Nicolas Junior High. This year I have been awarded the exciting opportunity to teach diverse subjects, including fundamental social studies, fundamental math, and study skills.
I obtained my Bachelor's of Science degree in Child Adolescent Development in 2020, and recently received my Mild/Moderate Education Specialist teaching credential from California State University Fullerton, this spring of 2022.
Throughout my college experience, I worked for Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District as a paraprofessional (teacher's aide), and was also a residential substitute teacher at Bernardo Yorba Middle School. I chose to fulfill this position at Nicolas Junior High because I really enjoy teaching this age group, and want to give back the excellent support and services provided throughout my education.
Growing up, school did not always come easy for me. However, throughout my education, I received excellent help from teachers, and other supportive services. This inspired my passion to give back and make a difference in the lives of students!
I look forward to getting to know your children's unique interests, talents and strengths, as well as helping them learn and grow in challenging areas.
The journey has just begun!
Sincerely, Hannah Keller (Ms. Keller)
