Welcome to class! This is my 26th year in education...I've taught grades K-12, History, RTI, ELD, ELA, and ASB, and I'm so glad to be a Literacy Coach at Nicolas Junior High. When I'm not at school, you'll find me hanging out with my family, enjoying Starbucks, running or biking through a nearby park, or practicing calligraphy on my iPad. 

This year, I am teaching Academic Pathway (ELA) and Academic Language Development (ELD). We will be challenging ourselves to work hard and develop good academic habits that will set you up for success as you prepare to transition to high school. Along the way, we'll share many fun moments together. I'm very honored to be part of your academic journey and I'm looking forward to a great year of growth and learning!
