Before- and After-School Enrichment

Encore: The Lab provides school-age students with free enrichment opportunities in a safe, welcoming environment before and after school.

Educational and recreational experiences extend learning beyond the classroom and connect with areas of study from the school day. Students have opportunities to explore:

  • Arts, math, science and other areas of interest
  • Recreation and physical activity
  • Social engagement and teamwork
  • Hands-on learning experiences
  • Activities that build confidence, resilience and positive decision-making

Through active participation, students can discover new interests, strengthen academic and social skills, and learn to make positive choices during their time outside the regular school day.
