Transitional Kindergarten & Kindergarten
Fullerton School District's Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten programs provide young learners with a strong foundation for academic success, social-emotional growth, and a lifelong love of learning.
Transitional Kindergarten is the first year of a two-year Kindergarten experience that bridges preschool and Kindergarten.
Designed specifically for younger learners, TK gives children the time and support they need to build confidence, develop foundational skills, and prepare for success in Kindergarten and beyond. Through engaging, play-based learning and meaningful family partnerships, our TK and Kindergarten programs nurture the whole child in a safe, supportive learning environment.

When Does Registration Open?
Enrollment for TK and Kindergarten opens each year in January for the upcoming school year. Families are encouraged to enroll as early as possible. Please note: Applications may be submitted during the summer, but enrollment will be finalized once school offices reopen in late July.

- Birth Certificate or Affidavit form, passport, or baptism certificate.
- Proof of address including documentation or declaration

- Dental Examination*
*Dental Law AB1433 requires that children enrolled in TK, kindergarten or 1st grade, whichever is his or her first year in public school, present proof of having received an oral health assessment by a licensed dentist or other licensed or registered dental health professional.
