Superintendent’s Community Update | September 6, 2026

Dear Fullerton School District Families:

September is off to a great start! I am proud to share that for the third year in a row, all 20 Fullerton School District schools have been named 2026 PBIS Platinum Schools! This achievement reflects our commitment to creating positive school communities where students feel connected, supported and ready to learn. Congratulations to our students and staff.

As we head into the Labor Day holiday, I also want to recognize our labor partners and dedicated employees across FSD. Their collective efforts help create the caring, engaging schools our students experience each day, and I am grateful for all they do.

When we return on Tuesday, we have several opportunities to connect with our broader community. On September 9, FSD will host our Community Business Partnership workshop, inviting local business owners to learn more about working with the District and opportunities to partner with our schools.

Later this week, we will pause to remember September 11 and honor the lives lost and those who answered the call to serve. Several of our schools, including Fisler, Orangethorpe and Laguna Road, will hold flag ceremonies to give students an opportunity to reflect and remember. We are grateful to our staff and community members who have served and continue to serve our communities and country.

I hope you enjoy a safe and restful Labor Day. We look forward to welcoming our students back on Tuesday.
