Superintendent’s Community Update | August 30, 2026

Dear Fullerton School District Families:

Last week, we hosted our final Back-to-School Nights at Parks, Ladera Vista and Nicolas junior high schools and Maple Elementary School. It was wonderful to connect with families, students and staff and get another glimpse of the learning, creativity and connection happening every day across our campuses.

Looking ahead, I am excited to attend my first Champions for Learning event of the school year on September 4 at Rolling Hills Elementary School. This will be a new experience for me and another important opportunity to listen and learn. Champions for Learning brings families together and helps elevate the voices of our multilingual parents and guardians around District priorities and issues that matter most to their communities.

Finally, I want to thank our students, families and staff for their patience, flexibility and understanding during the recent heat wave. Our teams have worked together to make adjustments as needed to help keep students safe and comfortable in their learning environments. We appreciate our families partnering with us as we navigate these unusually warm days, and we are looking forward to slightly cooler temperatures in the week ahead.
