5th Annual Korean Culture Night Celebrates Culture, Community and Student Talent

5th Annual Korean Culture Night Celebrates Culture, Community and Student Talent

Fullerton School District hosted its 5th Annual Korean Culture Night on May 7 at Parks Junior High School, bringing together students, families and community members for an afternoon of celebrating Korean culture, tradition and student talent.

The event featured a variety of performances, including energetic K-pop dance routines, traditional Korean dance and music, Korean mask dances and powerful Hwarang drum performances. A colorful Hanbok fashion show presented by students from Laguna Road Korean Dual Language Academy (DLA) highlighted the beauty of traditional Korean attire, while students from the Laguna Road Korean DLA program, Parks and Nicolas junior high schools, and Beechwood and Fisler schools showcased their talents throughout the event.

Attendees also enjoyed traditional Korean food, games and activities while exploring booths featuring Korean cosmetics, clothing and other cultural products offered by school PTAs – creating a vibrant festival atmosphere that celebrated culture, connection and school spirit across the Fullerton School District community.

Events like Korean Culture Night reflect Fullerton School District’s commitment to celebrating the diverse cultures and backgrounds represented throughout its schools. By creating opportunities for students and families to share traditions, talents and experiences, the District continues to foster inclusive learning environments where every student feels connected, valued and empowered to succeed
