MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

Membership in the Nicolas Junior High Honor Society is open to all students who meet the academic and citizenship requirements.  You must maintain a 3.50 or higher grade point average G.P.A.) and receive no N’s or U’s in citizenship.  Active members are those who continue to remain eligible through excellent grades and citizenship (3.50 and above G.P.A. with no N’s or U’s), participate in 10 hours of service projects per quarter (service projects must be pre-approved by the Honor Society Faculty Advisory Committee), and attend all meetings.  Active members are eligible to participate in field trips and other school activities regarding the Honor Society.  Furthermore, only those students who have been active members for 5 or more quarters may be eligible for a special medal or pin to be worn during promotion
