Please read the Fullerton School District Webpage news post to see a copy of the press release from the Fullerton Police Department. This morning we were contacted by the Fullerton Police Department that they received a call from the United States Postal Inspector regarding the case. We have been directed by the investigating agencies to ask students who received the flutes at Rolling Hills Elementary School as part of this program to turn them in to the Fullerton Police Department. The investigating agencies are not requesting flutes from any other schools in our District received as part of this program to be turned into the Police Department. However if you would like to turn in the flutes your child received as part of this program to the Police Department please place them in a paper bag labeled with the name of the school. The Fullerton Police Department is located at 237 W. Commonwealth Avenue, Fullerton, CA 92832. As this is a police matter, please do not bring any flutes to the schools or District Office because we cannot receive them. According to the Fullerton Police Department press release, “It is important to note that, at this point, there is no indication that these flutes are in fact tainted. This is being done in an abundance of caution.” We will continue to provide you with more information as it becomes available.
